Aloha Life picked up the Golden Kahuna award for Best Hawaiian Film at the Honolulu International Film Festival on March 8th.
The awards followed a three day event celebrating the best in independent film. Aloha Life was screened at a special presentation at the Dole Pineapple Plantation on Saturday, March 7th and received a standing ovation.
On hand to accept the award were the film's director Brian Rusch, creator and executive producer Alika Medeiros, executive producer Jason Perry and many of the other people that helped to make the film possible.
The awards were followed up by a private party at Nobu Waikiki which was attended by many of the winners of the event. To get more information on the Aloha Life movie, visit the official web site or contact Lisa Braun Dubbels of Catalyst Publicity.
