Wash Machine is a collaboration between two members of other spoken word/music groups Blueberry Love Machine and Wash Day. They may have just started, but it sounds like they were born doing this.

Nicole Williams, local spoken word poet, performed before Jared Paul at Maytan Music on 4/23. She suffered a concussion just the week before, but was courageous and determined enough to perform anyway, and did a fantastic job. She was then nice enough to answer a few questions after the show. On 4/22, Maytan Music hosted an event featuring Jared Paul. Before he performed, various local artists got in front of the mic. Some played music, some performed their poems.
